Eric Smith est né aux Etats-Unis en 1972, a étudié à la Rhode Island School of Design, il a travaillé ensuite comme designer à New York puis à Hollywood en 1997 pour Imaginary Forces. Récompensé pour ses divers travaux graphiques, il travaille actuellement comme réalisateur principal pour la société 1741 Films, réalisant notamment des génériques.
