Après avoir obtenu son diplôme en arts graphiques à Yale, Karin Fong travaille un temps comme graphiste au WGBH Boston puis rejoint les rangs de Imaginary Forces (cofondé par Kyle Cooper) en 1994. Son générique pour le film Bedazzled (Endiablée, ci-dessus) est récompensé du « Saul Bass Award for title design ».
